Partial Payments on myPittCounty

Pitt County property tax bills can be paid in full or in part on myPittCounty. As you go through the process of making your payment (see Pay a Property Tax Bill on myPittCounty) you will have the option to enter a partial amount.

To make a partial payment follow the steps below: 

1. On the cart notification, click Checkout

2. Enter your partial payment amount in the "Payment Amount" field

3. Enter your "Contact Information" 

Note: This does not have to be the person to whom the property is registered.

4. Select a payment method and click the blue Pay $--.-- button to complete your payment

Note:If you have a stored payment method, it will automatically appear here. If you have not added a payment method before or are proceeding as a guest, select Choose Payment Methodto add a credit/debit card or bank account.

After completing your payment, you will receive an email confirmation. If you are signed into your myPittCounty account, a receipt will also be stored in your profile (see Find a Receipt on myPittCounty).
